The ‘Dance with Vincent and Flavia’ App has had more than 100,000 downloads, and had proven very popular in China. Through ICN’s partnership with the University of Nottingham which has a campus in the Chinese city of Ningbo, the company has sub titled all video from the original App, and updated all navigation on this specific Mandarin version of the App. Instead of users having the option to automatically log in through Facebook as per the original version of the App, this new version allows users to automatically log in through Chinese social media site Weibo.

This App follows on from ICN’s launch with Bollywood actress Lara Dutta (Heal with Lara) in India, and reflects the company’s growth plan which includes exploring the markets with the largest proliferation of mobile and social media activity.

Flavia Cacace-Mistry said “There is huge interest in China in many of the ballroom and latin dances, so making the App more accessible to that audience seemed like the ideal next step.”

Geoff Baker, Founder & CEO of ICN said “Through our partnership with the University of Nottingham, being able to adapt content so smoothly and work in Mandarin means we can explore the possibilities in a top tier market for App engagement and mobile advertising”.

Further international developments are to be announced by ICN during 2016.
